Pottery with your child/grandchild

Service Description

This is a workshop suitable for all over the age of 7yrs. Cost is per child (no charge for adults). Children are to be accompanied by a parent/grandparent/responsible adult. You will be creating pieces together or alongside each other. You will be shown everything you need to get started from how to begin hand building, join clay and experiment with surface decoration. We will provide inspiration to get you started on your creation. Or you may choose to decorate ready made pottery with our wonderful selection of glazes. Everything you need is provided from aprons to tea, coffee and juices. At the end of the session you may choose the piece/s you would like to keep and we will then glaze them in a colour of your choice (Or you may wish to book a studio space on another day to come and continue creating or to have the chance to glaze them yourself). These will be fired and can be picked up approximately 4 weeks after the session. If required we can also arrange postage. Please note that there will be an addition charge for this to cover the postage and packaging, depending on size and weight.
